Where is the Royal Alfred Marina situated?
In South Africa's Eastern Cape province, 150 km between East London and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) on the R72. The entrance is in Albany Road, Port Alfred. Go to the Google map for directions.

Where are the Marina management offices situated?
The Royal Alfred Marina Homeowners' Association (RAMHOA) office is situated to the left of the estate entrance.
Is there an appointed Estate Manager?
Yes, Claire Wright is the appointed estate manager for RAMHOA. She is on-site every weekday and over weekends when necessary. Any problems or suggestions should be directed to her.

Access
How do residents obtain access tags?
Tags are available at the office at R50 each for residents and family members.
How do employees gain access to the estate?
- Part-time workers are given temporary access permits, the duration of which is stipulated by the homeowner.
- Permanent employees are registered on the biometric system.
How does the estate’s guest system work?
- The homeowner is to alert the guards on 046 624 4887 or the office on 046 624 4512 of the expected visitor/s to avoid delays at the entrance.
- A day visitor’s driver’s licence and vehicle licence will be scanned and assigned to the respective homeowner’s address.
- Longer-term visitors may obtain a temporary gate pass from the office for the period stipulated by a homeowner.

What form of security is in place on the estate?
Security at the Royal Alfred Marina is a top priority and as such is taken very seriously by management and residents alike. It includes:
- Strict access control – 24-hour gate monitoring with surveillance CCTV cameras.
- The main perimeter fence is checked frequently, day and night, for any fence breaches.
- 24-hour proactive cameras placed at strategic places along the perimeters.
What security arrangements apply to building operations?
- Contractors will have access via a separate turnstile entrance for pedestrians.
- Vehicles enter via the booms.
- Contractors will have to adhere to stringent security rules in the Marina.

What are the levies?
For 2022/23, the quarterly levies (including CSOS levies) are as follows:

Invoices are processed at the beginning of October each year, followed by January, April and July of the following year. Levies are payable quarterly in advance.
Building & Alterations
Who must I notify before starting alterations?
Before you start any renovations/alterations/improvements, you need to contact the General Manager who will advise you on the procedures to be followed.
Are there guidelines I must adhere to?
